Creating a menu link to your article

A standard site will have a top menu and/or left menu system. We sometimes use articles instead as a standard menu option. With www.bridalgownsbycaroline.co.za we omitted the menu system completely.

If you are unsure of your menu system, give me a call and I will help you gladly.

It is also possible to have multiple menus. Notice this site have Main Menu, OUR Work and TRAINING menus.

Step 1

Select the Menu Option (arrow 1) and select the menu where you want the link to be in (arrow 2).

  • Save – Will save the menu item and close the editor.
  • Apply – Will save without closing the editor.
  • Cancel - or close will discard all changes and save the editor.

Click on Save the menu item to complete the tutorial. If you view your site, a new menu link should now point to your new article.
